Specialized memory care at the Balmoral Care Center

The Balmoral Care Center has one of the most innovative, patient-centered memory care programs in the country. An entire floor was specially designed to enhance the quality of life for residents with memory loss. All rooms are private and residents are encouraged to surround themselves with familiar objects and photos. A special sensory garden is a unique environment that is safe for residents to explore. Music, games, movies, and off-campus trips keep residents engaged and motivated.

A social worker meets residents at the Balmoral Care Center to provide emotional and social support during the transition and throughout their stay. Social services are available to families as well as residents of Lake Forest Place.
